Dear aristocratic readers,
Brace yourselves, for you're going to be dealing with tons of feels. Last week our Giup managed to go to Anathema's gig in Ljubljana and you know (or might guess) how melancholic and sad and emotionally powerful a concert of theirs might be; plus, the opening act was Alcest, so… Yeah, feels. Has ours truly really come back home alive? Has his ghost written this live report? You'll find out.
If you just prefer not to read about such untrue, unextreme stuff, let's try something else: Dope Fiend reviewed the latest effort from the Spanish (actually from Catalonia) band Atrexial. Well, although their "Souverain" is not an essential album, our mate thinks it is anyway going to be appreciated by lovers of both Black and Death Metal: «muscular and dynamic [music], dark and violent, massive as it should be, however without giving up on the sinister and majestic fascination of well-finished melodic implants».
That would be all for this week. Nonetheless, as you know, we also do like to create playlists and we did it once again: here you'll find some of the doomiest things we've written about over the last months. You know, just in case you wanted some more darkness to listen to!
Blessed Samhain to you all from yours truly Oneiros. Salutations!
