Death Metal is horror, macabre irony, literature, cinematography and social and personal conflict. It’s anything we consider brutal, morbid and destructive, a kingdom of nightmares and fears where violence is ferocious and the anti-religious energy overwhelming. Along the years it took many shapes: melodic, technical, progressive, but the American styles of Tampa and New York, the massive wave of bands from Sweden and Finland and the Dutch and south American scenes are still the main sources of inspiration for all the artists who wish to join this world of extreme violence.
