You know very well that here on Aristocrazia Webzine we enjoy pretty much every style of music, even the most genuine and angry, such as hardcore. The Scottish combo Razor Sharp Death Blizzard was born in 2014 from the ashes of Ridgeback and Swellbellys, then released the EP "Riot, Revolt, Revolution" in 2015, and started working on their first full-length "You Will Burn" at the beginning of 2016.
It consists of thirty-six minutes of anarchist hate against both the nationalist and the corporativist right, as the quartet (I would say not by mere chance, considering the "Brexit" atmosphere one could breathe in the UK this year) comes forth in relentless rushes such as "Christian Sun". Towards the middle of this record, we can even hear some musical/vocal elements seemingly coming out of the '00s works by Mastodon, mainly in "There Will Be Blood" and in the unexpectedly long "Right Wing Scum" (let's say the song titles are all quite immediate). In addition, faster ("Meet Your Maker") and slower-paced tunes are well-balanced throughout the album. The last track is the devastating and somewhat ironic "Have A Nice Day", that will give us some support against yet another day of capitalist and (anti)social competition.
Visual artist Sam Hayles put out a relevant artwork, portraying a dystopic nightmare made of ghastly (and tie wearing) businessmen accompanied by a couple of members of the anti-riot police. Razor Sharp Death Blizzard have performed all around the United Kingdom in 2016 and, since "You Will Burn" is officially coming out in November, we will be waiting for them in continental Europe as well for the coming season.
