PLAYLIST 2017
Eccoci arrivati alla fine dell’ennesimo anno: buona fine e buon principio a tutti! Lo staff ha deciso di cimentarsi nuovamente nella composizione della tradizionale playlist di fine anno che, ormai da quasi una decade a questa parte, viene pubblicata sulla più aristocratica delle webzine italiche.
A conti fatti, la Top 5 di quest’anno è dominata da (rullo di tamburi…) Myrkur e Progenie Terrestre Pura, entrambi citati da ben tre autori. Ci sono poi alcune band piuttosto ricorrenti, come i nostrani In Tormentata Quiete (2), i finlandesi Hallatar (2) e i greci Need (2). Tra le uscite minori, invece, il debutto degli italiani Eye Sea Black ha trovato posto in ben tre liste, mentre l’ultima produzione dei prolifici Mesarthim in due! In più, altri nomi da tenere d’occhio sono quelli dei Párodos (2) e dei Katla (2).
Quella che nelle scorse edizioni era chiamata Flop 5 da quest’anno diventa Flop 3, categoria ridimensionata per motivi pratici ma soprattutto perché, detto tra di noi, a nessuno piace la musica veramente brutta. L’ultima fatica degli Iced Earth, in questo senso, è risultata indigesta a tre membri dello staff, seguita a ruota da quella degli Arch Enemy (2), degli Aborym (2) e degli Electric Wizard (3). Il nome dei Cradle Of Filth, a sorpresa, compare sia tra i flop che tra i top… Un disco controverso, pare!
