Con le radici ben salde nel primo doom (Black Sabbath, anyone?) e nel punk ottantiano, gruppi come i Melvins hanno tracciato il sentiero per un’intera scena che ha trovato il suo punto focale nell’area di New Orleans e la sua cricca di loschi figuri. Ritmi ossessivi e chitarre densissime, l’ideale per le menti più deviate.
